Thanks to everyone who
came out to our Annual Winterfest. This annual winter activity,
co-sponsored by CCRA, is always a fun outing for the whole family.
We hope you enjoyed it. Thanks to the committee for another great
job in organizing this community event.
On Friday February
15th from 12-2 p.m. there will be a free community skate at
Heron Park Arena. This happens to be a Professional Development Day
for our local schools. This event, sponsored by 43 Division and the
Community Policing Liaison Committee, is open to everyone in our
community. Again Marilyn Hodge has provided details of this event
elsewhere in this newsletter.
Once again this month
we are asking for someone to volunteer to deliver the newsletter in the
new subdivision on the southwest corner of Lawrence and
Port Union Road.
Someone has volunteered to deliver in this area this month only. If
we do not have someone come forward for future we will not continue to
deliver in this area.
Looking ahead to March
we will once again be holding our Wine Tasting evening on Saturday March
29th. This was a very successful event last year
and I understand from our event chair Heather Lemieux this year’s event
promises to be even more exciting. Watch for more details in next
month’s newsletter.
