Elected Representatives Reports Edited

While readers of the material we publish should expect the reports of their elected representatives to be presented as received, there have been three occasions since 1999 when material submitted by elected representatives has been edited. They are as follow:

A report which referred to one of the properties in the Village Common area and mis-spelled the name Annis was corrected to avoid potential embarrassment of the author.

A report which contained a sentence which had so many spelling, syntax, and grammatical errors that it should have embarrassed the author was re-written. The information given remained unchanged.

A report which contained a gratuitous uncomplimentary remark about CCRA activities was edited to remove the remark. The sense of the report was unaffected. The gratuitous remark was also demonstrably false, as was undeniably evidenced by the detailed archives maintained on this web site.
