Letters to the Editor
Submitted Dec. 17th 2007
Looking through my window today [December 14, 2007] brings to mind
horrible memories of winters past because of people parking on both sides
of Bridgeport Drive and the snow ploughs not being able to do their job,
or, if they do, they have to angle so widely to miss the parked car, that,
by the time they line themselves up again, they have deposited all the
snow in front of your driveway. In the early days of Port Union Village,
there was a notice to homeowners that parking on Bridgeport was not
permitted. I thought I had kept that note and would have forwarded it to
you, but have not been able to find it. With the change of ownership of so
many houses, it would be nice if a gentle reminder can be issued and if 43
Division would see fit to enforce it.
Sincerely,
Margaret Fernandes 6 Bridgeport Drive
